Hiranthi is an experienced public lawyer and has worked in the New Zealand public service for over 30 years. Prior to her role at MBIE, Hiranthi was the Chief Legal Advisor at the Department of Internal Affairs, Chief Legal Counsel at Capital and Coast District Health Board and senior counsel at Housing New Zealand and Ministry of Housing. She also holds a Masters degree in Dispute Resolution from Massey University and is a trained Transformational Coach.
